Executive MBA@UW Program’s partnership with Businesswoman of the 2016 Contest
Executive MBA@UW Program made a partner for the 8th edition of the Businesswoman of the Year Contest which has been organized annually by a portal Sukces Pisany Szminką. Gala Event, where all the statuettes and prizes were given, took place at the Senator Building in Warsaw on March 9, 2017. The prizes were given in several categories: Start-up, My Company, Success in Corporation, Woman in New Technologies, Women’s Engagement, and Businesswoman of the Audience. In addition, for the first time, the GRAND PRIX was awarded to prof. Jadwiga Sójka-Ledakowicz, Director of the Textile Institute in Łódż for the outstanding accomplishments in connecting business with science and running a scientific unit as a company. The special award was also given to Ewa Błaszczyk, co-founder of the “A kogo?” Foundation for her unprecedented achievements in social activity, going beyond the criteria listed in the contest regulations. Iwona Georgijew – Partner at Deloitte – Laureate in the “Success in Corporation” category – has received a prize founded by the International Management Center at University of Warsaw – studies at the Executive MBA@UW program. The award was handed by prof. Alojzy Nowak, Dean of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw.
