November 13, 2020 The official inauguration of the University of Warsaw Deans' Academy took place, a new management education program organized by the International Management Center of the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the Office of Employee Affairs of the University of Warsaw for the deans of all faculties. The DEAN ACADEMY of the University of Warsaw is a program aimed at increasing managerial competences among newly elected deans of the 2020-2024 term of office.

This year's results of the international Ranking of Business Universities - Eduniversal were announced. The deans of a thousand business universities from around the world who took part in the vote assessed universities from 154 countries.
Solemn Graduation of Executive MBA @ UW students: September 19, 2020
On Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw, Graduation of Executive MBA @ UW program students took place. This year's graduates received MBA diplomas and postgraduate certificates in the sanitary regime in the largest hall of the Faculty. Congratulations to all students for their excellent academic results, in particular to all those awarded for the highest grade point average and awarded for preparing the best consulting projects!
The International Management Center at the Uniwersity of Warsaw has started recruiting for the new 28th edition of the Executive MBA post-graduate studies.
In connection with the coronavirus pandemic, on May 21st, 2020, the University of Warsaw’s Rector, prof. Marcin Pałys, issued another decision on the functioning of teaching and administrative units of the University of Warsaw as of May 25th, 2020.
Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak - Dean of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw, became a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of New Structural Economics at the University of Beijing.
Among the 22 outstanding scientists from around the world, there are four Nobel Prize winners in the field of economic sciences: prof. Edmund S. Phelps from Columbia University, prof. Michael Spence from New York University, prof. Roger Myerson from the University of Chicago and prof. Christopher Pissarides from the London School of Economics.
We are pleased to inform you that due to the prestigious EQUIS accreditation granted to the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw, the Dean of the University of Warsaw prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak received a congratulatory letter from the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Science and Higher Education, prof. Jaroslaw Gowin.
The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) has granted the EQUIS accreditation - one of the most recognized accreditations for business schools –to the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. Our Faculty is in a prestigious group of 174 universities in the world that have this accreditation.
EQUIS - European Quality Improvement System – is one of the three most recognized accreditations for business schools and faculties. Its aim is to assess the quality of education of the study programs offered by a given institution and to provide and improve the quality of education in the field of management. The accreditation primarily focuses on the development of entrepreneurial behavior among students and the implementation of didactic innovations. An important element of the assessment is also the internationalization process of the school and its cooperation with external institutions and business organizations in terms of preparing graduates for the needs of the labor market.
