 AACSB International

For over 100 years, AACSB accreditation has represented the highest standard of quality in business education in the world. As the longest-serving and largest business education network, AACSB connects lifelong learners, educators, and businesses worldwide. Today, a total of 950 institutions across 59 countries and territories have earned AACSB accreditation in business. Furthermore, 192 institutions maintain supplemental AACSB accreditation for their accounting programs.

“AACSB accreditation recognizes institutions that have demonstrated a focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curriculum development, and student learning,” said Stephanie M. Bryant, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB. “We congratulate each of the newly accredited institutions for earning this respected honor.”

Achieving accreditation is a process of rigorous internal focus, engagement with an AACSB-assigned mentor, and peer-reviewed evaluation. During this multiyear path, schools focus on developing and implementing a plan to align with AACSB’s accreditation standards. These standards require excellence in areas relating to strategic management and innovation; student, faculty, and staff as active participants; learning and teaching; and academic and professional engagement.

“The commitment to earning accreditation is a true reflection of a school’s dedication—not only to their students, alumni network, and greater business community, but to the higher education industry as a whole,” said Bryant. “Today’s students are tomorrow’s business leaders, and the addition of these fifteen institutions to the network of AACSB-accredited business schools will have a lasting positive impact, both locally and globally.”

Association of MBA's

AMBA (Association of MBA's) is an independent association founded by graduates of the best MBA programs from around the world, working since 1967. Its overarching goal is to raise the standards and quality of post-graduate school education for the benefit of students, graduates and employers. In the accreditation process, the commission composed of representatives of accredited institutions verifies the conditions of studying, the program, the qualifications of the students' staff and achievements. Around 250 schools in 80 countries worldwide have this accreditation.
The benefits for students from studying on an AMBA accredited program are:

  • the diploma gained after completing the AMBA accreditation program is recognized globally as a confirmation of the quality and standard of received education

  • AMBA is an association that connects MBA students, graduates and employers around the world, giving the opportunity to expand international contacts

  • Thanks to its own research center, AMBA creates a rich collection of reports examining global trends that guide the thought of leadership in the industry

  • AMBA opens the possibility of online and face to face contact by offering career guidance and contacts with employers on all continents

  • Accredited business schools, their students and graduates of accredited schools have full access to a range of exclusive services and benefits, including world-class events and training

 EQUIS accreditation

EQUIS is a prestigious accreditation. The verification commission assesses the institutions applying for this distinction very critically. Only 176 business schools worldwide have this accreditation. The Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw is the second university in Poland, which according to EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), meets all of the following requirements.
The main goal of EQUIS, related to the EFMD mission, is to raise the level of management education around the world.

To achieve this goal the commission distinguishes the universities by assessing:

  • the institution as a whole. It assesses not only the study programs, but also all the activities and sub-units of the institution, including research, e-learning units, educational benefits for the managerial staff and the reach of the community. Institutions must be primarily geared to management education. The scope covers all programs offered by the institution from the first degree to the doctoral degree

  • the balance between high academic quality and the reference to professional practices provided by close interactions with the corporate world. Close cooperation with the business world is therefore as required as the research potential. EQUIS pays special attention to creating an effective learning environment that supports the development of managerial and entrepreneurial skills and supports the sense of global responsibility. He is also looking for innovation in all aspects, including designing programs and pedagogy

  • internationalization. Due to the fact that companies recruit employees from around the world, future students choose education outside their own country, and schools build alliances across borders and continents, there is a need to identify those institutions that provide high quality education in international management
