Completion of the 1st edition of the Deans' Academy of the University of Warsaw
On Monday, June 28, 2021, in the gardens of the University of Warsaw Library, the ceremony of the end of the 1st edition of the University of Warsaw Deans - a managerial education program co-financed by the European Social Fund under the OP KED in the Program of Integrated Actions for the Development of the University of Warsaw (ZIP) took place. The concept of the Academy was developed by the International Management Center WZ UW and the Training Department of the University of Warsaw and was modeled on the assumptions of the Executive MBA @ UW program, run by MCZ WZ UW for 30 years. The Deans Academy of the University of Warsaw, in which deans and directors of university-wide units took part, became a jubilee management program prepared and conducted especially for the highest-ranking managerial staff of the University of Warsaw. Classes, for such an excellent group of Participants, were conducted by the best lecturers from the University of Warsaw, as well as internal experts - directors and heads of administration units of the University of Warsaw.
The ceremony, summarizing the nearly a year-long program of the Deans' Academy of the University of Warsaw, was attended by: J.M. Rector of the University of Warsaw, prof. dr hab. Alozjy Z. Nowak; rector's team: prof. dr hab. Ewa Krogulec, prof. dr hab. Zygmunt Lalak, prof. dr hab. Sambor Grucza; Dr. Tomasz Ludwicki, director of MCZ WZ UW, invited guests and Alumni of the Deans' Academy of the University of Warsaw.
Currently, the 2nd edition of the Deans Academy of the University of Warsaw is underway, in which the vice-deans of faculties and directors of doctoral schools of the University of Warsaw take part.
