Graduation of Cohort XXII


 

On Saturday, June 13th, 2015 at Senat Hall of Kazimierzowski Palace, at The University of Warsaw, the 22nd cohort of students graduated from Executive MBA Program at the University of Warsaw.

Prof. Alojzy Nowak, Prorector at the University of Warsaw, conducted The Ceremony which was attended by: prof. Ewa Krakowińska, Vice-Dean of School of Management at the University of Warsaw; dr. Tomasz Ludwicki, EMBA Director of Executive MBA Program, prof Susan Cohen - U.S. Director of Executive MBA Program and last, but not least - the Graduates and their families. The ceremony was also attended by the EMBA partners: Mr. Mirosław Mirosławski - Vice President at ABB in Poland and Mrs. Zuzanna Warowna-Toruńska, Chief Operation Officer, DDB & Tribal Sp. z o.o.  who handed over the awards for the best papers on strategy (ABB) and marketing (DDB @ Tribal), as well as the best consulting projects granted by Rector Alojzy Nowak.

Award for the Best Strategy Paper, founded by ABB went to: Tomasz Michałowicz, Paweł Rakowski and Krzysztof Wojtyczka
Award for the Best Marketing Paper, founded by DDB went to: Izabela Zajfert, Antoni Hułas and Remigiusz Lewandowski

Awards were also given to the faculty: prof. Nicolas Petruzzi – The Best Foreign Teacher of the 22th cohort of EMBA and  prof. Krzysztof Obłój – The Best Polish Teacher of the 22th cohort of EMBA.

Rector Alojzy Nowak in his short speech emphasized the role of the managerial education and especially the role of our Executive MBA Program in creating a new shape of modern business environment in Poland.

On behalf of the Graduates, Paweł Rakowski thanked all the class mates and their families, the faculty and the Executive MBA team for cooperation and support. Tomasz Kacprzak, Board of Member of Alumni Association „Nowy Świat” congratulated the Graduates and invited them to join the Association. Dr. Tomasz Ludwicki gave the last, but no least, speech of  the Ceremony.
The Graduation ceremony was graced by the UW Choir, who performed “Gaude Mater Polonia” and “Gaudemaus Igitur”, and followed with the toast and refreshments served at the Golden Hall of the Palace.
