The prospect of HR development requires leaders

On the 20th of June, 2013, at the premises of the International Management Center  at  The University  of Warsaw, presentation of a research study "HR Perspective", carried out among the HR directors of the largest companies in Poland by MCZ UW team in collaboration with PwC , Polish Association of Human Resources Management and PKN Orlen.

HR Directors predict a significant reduction of employment by 2020, mainly due to the progress of automatization. At the same time they indicate that businesses development will depend primarily on leadership ability of their leaders.

"Due to automatization progress, 68% of HR directors who participated in our research expects employment reduction at their companies by over 10% by 2020. At the same time, 25% of directors expects employment reduction in over 25% "- said Dr. Michał Zdziarski, Research Director at MCZ UW, head of the research project" HR Perspective ".

At the same time, participants of the study point out the areas which they expect as a prerequisites for development of Polish companies for the coming years. More than 57% of the respondents indicates the priority of leadership role at each level of business. More than one-third of HR directors perceives the chance to increase their organizations in innovation and also in cost optimization.
